WebUI components now fully supports HTML5 as well as the previous XHTML 1.1 Transitional doc type. This is made possible with the revamped core rendering and UI design. To learn more about breaking changes in WebCombo, read Breaking Changes in User Interface.

Along with HTML5 and XHTML 1.1 compliant support, all user interface features and data functions are supported and have been fully tested.

To use WebCombo in HTML5 web page, please ensure that the DOCTYPE and the namespace have been registered properly. See the following code example.

For more information how to enable HTML5 rendering mode for WebUI components, see Enable HTML5 Rendering Mode.

The HTML5 support allows developers to use WebUI in their web applications that target W3C standards compliance.
